1. What do I do if I forgot my password?

– First, confirm that you are trying to log in with the correct email address.  You can confirm this by going to our “Verify Registration Status” page at www.worldsleepstore.com.
– After you know you are using the correct email address then you can go to our Forgot Your Password page.  Enter your email into the field and click Go.  Then our system will send you an email to change your password.


2. How do I check my membership status?

After logging in at www.worldsleepstore.com, click on the “My Memberships” link in the top navigation.  Once there you will be able to view your member type, join date expiration date. etc.


3. My computer’s security settings aren’t allowing me to register for a membership.  Is there another way that I may do so?

Yes.  You can download the application by clicking here.  Then email it to info@worldsleepsociety.org.


4. If I join the WASM/WSS in the middle of the year, will my membership last for the next 12 months?

Sorry, but no.  All memberships expire on December 31st.  Memberships purchased after October 1st receive the remainder of the current year and the entire upcoming year.


5. Can I renew my membership or become a member over the phone?

6. How do I purchase my first membership with WASM/WSS?

1.  Go to our “Verify Registration Status” page at www.worldsleepstore.com.
2.  On this page you will enter the email account you want to attach to your WASM membership and click “Go”.
3.  After our system confirms that we do not have your account on record then you will fill out our “New Visitor Registration” form and click on “Create Account” when done.
4.  After this is completed can go to our secure “Online Store” and choose the membership that is best for you.
5.  Then just complete the Checkout steps.


7. How do I renew my membership?

1.  Log in to your account at www.worldsleepstore.com.
2.  Then go to our secure “Online Store” to choose your membership.
3.  Complete the Checkout steps.


8. How do I update my contact information?

1.  Log in to your account at www.worldsleepstore.com.
2. Click on the “My Profile” tab in the top navigation.
3. Click on the “Edit/View Information” link.
4. Edit any information of your choosing then click on the “save button at the bottom of the screen.


9. What are the benefits of membership?

– Eligibility for WASM committees and to participate and vote in general assembly meetings
– Sleep Medicine journal (online access for all memberships, print copy for full memberships)
– Discount pricing for the World Sleep Congress (members save $125)
– Inclusion in the online directory
– Complimentary World Sleep Society membership


10. Where can I find my member number?

WASM/WSS does not use member numbers.


11. Since our Society is an Associated Society member, am I also considered a WASM member since I am a member of the Society?

No, you are not considered a WASM member.  Your society does however receive a discount on memberships.  You will need to contact your society for the coupon code.
